Come and join YogaBugs for a fun adventure-style class. We fly on magic birds, take rockets to the moon float on magic carpets, meet pirates, mermaids and giants. We always have exciting experiences in wonderful places. We include warm ups to prepare ourselves for our travels and we turn grown up yoga postures into animals, fish, trees, mountains and creatures. We use breathing exercises to give us strength and stamina on our missions and learn how proper breathing helps us to us feel calm too and support us in our learning and relaxation

Children of ages 4-7 will explore traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques and deep relaxation in an engaging and accessible environment. Jo has been teaching yoga to children for over 12 years and leads the Life Centre's 'Teaching Yoga to Children' and the Yoga for the Special Child course.

An opportunity for teenagers to explore traditional yoga postures, breathing exercises and deep relaxation in a creative and engaging environment. Jo has been teaching yoga to teenagers for over 10 years and runs training courses in teaching yoga to this age group.

The aim of Yoga’d Up is to introduce children aged 8 to 12 to cool, fun and innovative classes which encourage creativity, develop respect through partner work and help lay healthy foundations for the years ahead. This workshop is definitely worth making a note of and is a valuable way of introducing yoga to children or maintaining the enthusiasm as they have from being YogaBugs!
