Teaching Yoga to Dancers - with Abby Hoffmann

This movement session is aimed at yoga teachers or student teachers who are interested in learning more about the ways in which yoga can be applied to dance training. The participants will experience a yoga session that is tailored for dancers taking into account different soma-types and different dance styles practiced. Participants will learn about the key principles or 'master keys' of Vinyasa-style yoga and their importance for creating intelligent and beneficial yoga sequences that are geared toward optimising performance and enhancing a performer's well-being. Research has already been carried out in the UK that points to the efficacy of yoga as an integrated practice for dancers

Dru Yoga for a healthy back - with Coby Langford
